Meet Rev. Dr. Eric Sayonkon

Pastor Eric Sayonkon feels blessed and honored to be the Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Le Mars.

Pastor Eric and his wife Eboni, 16-year-old son Luke, and 14 year old daughter Abigail moved to Le Mars from Red Oak, IA. Pastor Eric has been sent to lead our congregation because of his ability to share his passion of God’s word, connecting with all ages of people, and he is community minded. He brings a great amount of skill in teaching, preaching, pastoral care, and worship. Pastor Eric and Eboni have a passion for music, and they have relationship with French Ministry.

 It is exciting to be part of what God is doing among us as a church family. Our mission is “Transforming hearts, minds, and lives by the gracious love of Christ” Our calling is from God to serve his purpose on earth. 

As one family in Christ, we appreciate our past and embrace the future with God’s vision, trusting that “God is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.
